Parade of Lights – downtown Kimball

104.3 KIMB announced today that they will be continuing the tradition of the Christmas Parade in Kimball.

The announcement follows the decision of outgoing volunteer parade organizers Chelsea Autrey and Laura Perry to step back after over a decade of growing the parade to where it is today. 104.3 KIMB’s Christmas Parade On Top of Nebraska promises to continue to build on Chelsea and Laura’s hard work and vision for the evening parade featuring festive entries from across the region.

The 2026 parade will take place on Saturday, December 5th at 5:00pm. Running down 2nd Street from Howard Street to Webster Street. Parade registration is free for non-profit and governmental organizations as long as your entry has at least 104.3 lights on it. Businesses are asked to contribute $20 to the $400 prize pool for the winning entries in categories like Best Float and Best Youth Entry.
