Here is information to help with wedding planning in the Kimball area.
General Nebraska marriage license requirements:
- Marriage license applications are available at the County Courthouse, 114 E. 3rd St., in the County Clerk’s office, second floor. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Both Bride & Groom must appear together to complete the application.
- Photo ID and Social Security number for each person is required.
- Must be at least 19 years old. People ages 17 to 18 must have a notarized consent form signed by the person’s legal guardian. No license will be issued to anyone under the age of 17.
- Fee in cash or check is payable at the time the application is submitted.
- Licenses are valid for 1 year and are only valid within the State of Nebraska.
Officiants – Any ordained clergyman, judge, retired judge, or clerk magistrate may perform a marriage service.
